Neo-Humanistic Education

Neo-Humanism is newly explained humanism.

“Humanism” and “humanity” have been very popular words for the last century, and only human beings have come within the scope of humanism and humanity. But this explanation is not sufficient, it cannot quench the thirst of the developing human society.

Why should the love and affection of developed human minds be restricted to human beings only? Why should it not include all living beings, including plant life?

The real meaning of education

Sa’ vidya ‘ ya’ vimuktaye (Sanskrit)
Education is that which liberates.

Real education leads to a pervasive sense of love and compassion for all creation. The word education itself has special significance: enlargement of mind.

Thus, education is a process of trilateral development: the simultaneous development in the physical, mental and spiritual realms of existence.

This development should enhance the integration of the human personality. By this, dormant human potentialities will be awakened and put to proper use. Educated are those who have learnt much, remembered much and made use of their learning on practical life.

Neo Humanistic education attempts to develop in a child:

DESMEP- Discipline, Etiquette, Smartness, Morality, English and Pronunciation

Trustworthiness

Ideation of the Great

Some quotes from P.R. Sarkar, Indian Philosopher, Spiritual Teacher and founder of Neo-Humanism:

"Neo-Humanism is the spirit of benevolence. To teach love, one must embody it. To embody love one must see all as divine. To see all as divine one must contemplate the divine self within us all and dance with divinity as we proceed through our lives".

"If we go deeper, to the very root, we find that whatever we observe in this universe- animals, birds, plants, land, water, hills, mountains, sun, moon, stars and so many other things that we love in numerous ways- all are but the limited expressions of the Supreme Entity".
