Welcome to Sunrise Kindergarten & Long Day Care Centre for 3 to 5 year olds. Our kindergarten has been in operation since 1993 and our program is based on the Neo-Humanistic Educational Philosophy.
Sunrise Kindergarten is an educational project of Ananda Marga organisation. The founder is PR Sarkar who was born in 1921 and passed away in 1990. In 1953 he formed the Ananda Marga (path of bliss) organisation. It is a multifaceted organization. Reflecting this broadness, the Ananda Marga organisation has many different branches dedicated to the uplifting of humanity through education, relief work, welfare, the arts, ecology, intellectual renaissance, women’s emancipation and humanistic economy.
Our Centre is managed by the Director, who is assisted by a Management Committee comprised of parents and local supporters of the Centre and its philosophy. The organisation Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha Ltd. owns the premises.
